This week we explored a new math warm up routine called "Magic Squares". Students were to use the known numbers to find the unknown numbers where the sum of each row, column and diagonal are the same. Here is an example of our math talk, after all students attempted the magic squares puzzle independently we came together to share our mathematical thinking and strategies used. This is documentation of students sharing their problem solving strategies.
Have a great weekend!
