Zoo School 

Earlier this week a field trip form for Virtual Zoo School was sent home. Please be advised that the fees department has not processed the $40 fee for Open Minds Zoo School yet. When it is set up, I will send a school messenger advising families and field trip forms can be returned after payment has been made. 

Next week is our Zoo School week. In preparation, two Zoo School Ambassadors came to our classroom yesterday to prepare us and get students excited for the week ahead. They also left four suitcases of Calgary Zoo biofacts that we get to keep in the classroom and explore for the next three weeks! Here is our weekly schedule for Zoo School:

 

Veteran Food Drive 

As of today we have collected 809 food items, which is absolutely amazing!  Thanks for your continued generosity so far everyone!  Please keep bringing in food items until November 16^th and help build our donations.  We are going to have such a positive impact on the lives of Veterans.

Some ideas for donations are:

• Canned Beans, Vegetables, and Meats (Fish or Chicken) 
• Cooking Oil 
• Crackers 
• Nuts 
• Spices 
• Granola Bars 
• Peanut Butter 
• Cereal 
• Soup, Chili and Stew
